Villa submit Premier League 2010-11 squad

Villa have submitted a final 22-man senior squad for the Barclays Premier League campaign.

New rules for the 2010-11 season will see all top-flight clubs register a maximum of 25 players with the Premier League today, following the closure of the transfer window yesterday.

Changes can be made to the squad when the transfer window re-opens in January.

New signing Stephen Ireland is named in the claret and blues squad, along with Togo international Moustapha Salifou and reserve stars Eric Lichaj, Jonathan Hogg and Isaiah Osbourne.

But, on top of the listed players, Villa will also be able to utilise players under the age of 21, such as Marc Albrighton, Nathan Delfouneso, Barry Bannan, Ciaran Clark and Fabian Delph - all of whom have featured regularly in the first team squad.

SQUAD: Brad Friedel, Brad Guzan, James Collins, Carlos Cuellar, Curtis Davies, Habib Beye, Richard Dunne, Eric Lichaj, Stephen Warnock, Luke Young, Stewart Downing, Jonathan Hogg, Stephen Ireland, Isaiah Osbourne, Stiliyan Petrov, Nigel Reo-Coker, Moustapha Salifou, Steve Sidwell, Ashley Young, Gabriel Agbonlahor, John Carew, Emile Heskey.
