Midfield star Hogg will join the League Two side until January 2.

Hogg is a combative central man who loves a tackle but also wades in with his fair share of goals.

He recovered from a serious knee injury, requiring treatment in the USA, to be the top scorer in Villa's triumphant reserve campaign last season.

He bagged a brace - including a right-foot volley towards the North Stand - in a 6-1 home victory over Portsmouth and scored another in the 2-1 win over Fulham the following month.

He was part of the squad which emerged victorious in the Peace Cup and is now looking to ignite his campaign by helping fire The Quakers up the league table.
