Barry Relishing Finale
![]()
Gareth Barry can't wait for Villa's last day showdown with Newcastle United, insisting: "This game means so much to both teams." With Newcastle scrapping for Barclays Premier League survival and Villa desperate to snatch fifth place from Everton, Barry believes both sets of players will thrive on the pressure of Sunday's clash. He said: "As a player you want to play in these sorts of games because pressure games are what it's all about. "It means so much to both teams. People may look at it and say we're not really too interested in the game because we are guaranteed sixth spot. "But we want to improve on last season, go up a position in the league and improve on the points total. That is still a big aim for us. "At the same time, the pressure will be on Newcastle as they realise they have to win the game or at least get a draw to give them a chance of survival."
