Knight: In For The Kill
![]()
Zat Knight believes Villa must learn to kill teams off in order to maintain their fifth place position in the Barclays Premier League. Knight was pleased with the improved defensive display at Bolton but called for the claret and blue troops to see games out when ahead - to ensure Everton don't pip them. He told AVTV: "We were on a high at half-time after Ashley's goal and we felt we could go on to win the game. "But we seem to be conceding goals at the moment, which is very frustrating. We need to put a stop to it. There were no real clear-cut chances in the game and that was pleasing. But we do need to kill teams off and see games out. We have got to improve on that. "We want to finish in fifth now. We wanted fourth but I think everyone knows realistically that is gone for us now. It would take a miracle for us to overtake Arsenal but we'll keep fighting for every point. "I know fifth is just one position improvement but we would definitely have taken that at the start of the season. It's still in our hands and that can only be a good thing."
