England Focused

Fabio Capello's men face Andorra on Saturday before taking on Croatia on Wednesday. And the Villa star insists the players are determined to get the job done. "This is an important few days for us, and hopefully we've done enough work to be ready," Barry said. "We know what type of game it's going to be. They'll get all bodies behind the ball, they're tough to break down, from experience last time they were tough to crack but we'll be looking for a good start to the campaign. "We know these are the games we get judged on, so there is no chance of us not being sharp. These are qualifying games - the work we've done this week has set us up to perform in these matches. "The players, the staff, the manager, we'll all get judged on what happens over the next few days and we're confident we can get the job done." Barry believes Capello's men are focused on their specific jobs as they look to make a good start in the campaign to reach the 2010 finals in South Africa. "We've mainly been looking at our own game this week, that's what's important, and hopefully we can take what we've learnt into the two games ahead. "There are lessons to be learned. We've gone back over old games, looked at things we haven't got quite right and we're looking to put it all together - starting Saturday." |
