Gabby Agbonlahor's goal burst against Manchester City may be Villa's fastest ever Barclays Premier League hat-trick but it took almost twice as long as the club's quickest ever treble.

Records for the club's early years are far from perfect but George Brown scored a four minute hat-trick as Villa thrashed Blackburn Rovers 5-0 on April 29th 1933.

Brown struck on 77, 79 and 81 minutes. He then added a fourth for good measure six minutes from time. Eric Houghton completed the scoring at Ewood Park.

Equally at home at inside right or centre forward, Brown scored 89 goals in 126 Villa appearances between 1929 and 1935.

George Johnson also clocked up four in the 7 - 1 demolition of Manchester City on December 1st 1900. His first three goals came on 9,11 and 15 minutes and that six-minute hat-trick was followed by another goal on 35.

Versatile forward Johnson scored 47 goals in 108 Villa appearances between 1897 and 1905.

The legendary Billy Walker struck on 82, 84 and 89 minutes as Newcastle were hammered 6-1 on April 21 1924.

Walker scored a phenomenal 244 goals in 531 Villa appearances between 1919 and 1934.
