England Will Come Calling
![]()
Martin O'Neill this evening told opening day heroes Gabby Agbonlahor and Ashley Young: "Your England chance will come." The Villa duo were omitted from Fabio Capello's squad for the midweek friendly clash with the Czech Republic at Wembley and responded with outstanding displays as Villa beat Manchester City 4-2. Young created two goals while Agbonlahor was the second-half hat-trick hero to give O'Neill's men three richly deserved points. Afterwards the Villa boss said: "You could see the confidence go flooding into Gabby once he had scored that first goal. The other two goals were magnificent and I was delighted for him. "In terms of England, his time will come. It is a long season and he knows what is ahead. This is a great start for him. "I was a bit surprised Ashley did not get in the England squad but his time will come as well. I have no doubts whatsoever that they will make it through."
