Match preview: Man City v Villa
Man City v Villa
Villa have no new injury concerns ahead of the trip to Man City.
The Etihad Stadium clash comes too soon for injured trio Jack Grealish, Libor Kozak and Carlos Sanchez.
Grealish is struggling with an ankle problem and hasn't featured since coming on as a sub against this weekend's opponents in the FA Cup while Kozak also has an ankle problem.
Sanchez has a hamstring issue, which flared up in the home win over Wycombe Wanderers.
Meanwhile, Yaya Toure has been passed fit for City after recovering from a foot injury sustained in the Capital One Cup final at Wembley.
Manuel Pellegrini will still be without Fabian Delph, Kevin De Bruyne and Samir Nasri.
We are now coming into games against teams at the top of the table at the end of the season, which is not a good thing because points are crucial for them as well as us.
But in football you never know.
Sometimes games are going in a way that no one has expected before.
We must ensure we are not focused too much on our opponents.
We have to focus on what we can improve and what we can do.
We have to do the maximum every game and not focus too much on what others can do.
We play at home against the team in the worst position in the Premier League but the worst mistake we can make is thinking that we've already won the game.
We must concentrate, try not to make mistakes.
We know all teams in the relegation places will create a difficult game - I hope we can play our best performance and get the three points.
We created a lot of chances at Villa Park in the 0-0 draw.
Maybe it was the first game Rémi Garde was in charge, we didn't expect to draw, it was a game that I think we played well in - but sometimes you don't score.
I am sure that we will find a team who will fight to the end until mathematics say they cannot survive.
It's more tough games coming up - Man City and Spurs - it's not getting any easier.
But we will keep going. We are not giving up. We will keep believing.
I know it's hard for everyone associated with the club, especially the fans.
I feel their pain because Aston Villa - in this situation - it's hard to take.
That goes for the players too obviously. It's hurting us all.
When people say that it doesn't hurt us, as players that hurts the most because we don't want to go out and lose every week. It's not good.
All we can do is go out there and do our best.
Every time we drop points we're disappointed but we have to move on.
Losing to Liverpool was a blow but every team drops points.
We must move on now as a group, forget about it and work as hard as we possibly can.
