Westwood hoping to get the better of neighbour Albrighton
Ashley Westwood is hunting three points as the side aim for another survival boost - and also get the better of neighbour Marc Albrighton.
Westwood and Albrighton were team-mates in claret and blue for almost two years until Albrighton left for Leicester in May 2014.
But they have stayed in touch, thanks to living opposite each other.
Westwood wants to get the upper hand today - giving him the chance to wear a smile as they greet each other daily from across the road.
He said: "I am sure Marc will be buzzing to come back to Villa Park. His family all support the club so I am sure they will be giving him some stick before the match.
"He's a big part of a very good team, who have done very well so far this season.
"He has come into his own at Leicester and fair play to him. It's where hard work gets you.
"He lives opposite me so there's been a bit of banter already this week.
"Before the match today, we won't chat but afterwards I am sure we will. I hope it's me that's smiling!"
Westwood has been very impressed with the Foxes this term - but he firmly believes Villa can get the right result.
And the midfielder stresses a three point haul would give the team another huge lift as we look to avoid relegation.
He added: "It was a massive result on Tuesday. We were happy. The fans were happy. That's what we want to do.
"If we win today, we're right back in it and other teams will be looking over their shoulders again.
"People have already written us off, we know that.
"But in that changing room we have good players and we believe we can go on a run.
"Leicester did it last time - and we want to do the same. I believe we have the ability to do that.
"If we keep churning out performances and results, you never know where that might take us.
"Leicester are the perfect example. They were in the same position as us and look at them now.
"It's going to take a lot of hard work but all the lads are willing to do that."
