The Boss: Garde on Wycombe draw, frustration, Richards and Grealish
His views are below.
On the final score…
I think this is a fair result when you look at the game.
Let's say that we have not been good enough to win this match.
On the frustration of fans…
Yes, I can understand the supporters.
They travel far from Birmingham.
We have to accept this criticism because we're not winning these kind of games.
I understand that the fans could be angry about the result.
We have to accept that as players, as a manager - everybody involved with this football club has to accept that we're criticised at the moment because we're not winning.
On the second half..
I told the players at half-time we stopped playing after we opened the scoring.
We weren't at the same level as Wycombe.
We should have taken it up in terms of passing game, runs, in terms of winning challenges and I think we didn't. I don't know why.
I warned the players that the second half could go the same way if we didn't up our level and actually we started the second half very poorly and have been punished very quickly.
On turning around the form/results…
The day I feel I will not be able to do any positive thing for this big football club, you will know it.
On the penalty…
I don't want to argue about the penalty in this kind of game.
I just know that sometimes you have the same challenges in the middle of the pitch and there is no whistle.
I haven't seen the replay to be fair.
Watching live I thought it was a bit exaggerated. I've been told it was.
Even with a penalty we should've scored more goals than that.
On the injury to Micah Richards…
I don't know exactly.
He had to come off - and I did it.
I haven't spoken with the doctor yet.
I don't think it's very important - but it was important enough for him to ask to come off.
On the absence of Jack Grealish…
Jack was ill for the last three days with tonsillitis.
He hasn't trained for the last three or four days.
He hasn't trained with a fever. He has antibiotics.
