Match preview: Wycombe v Villa
Wycombe v Villa
We are missing winger Adama Traore (broken foot).
But striker Jordan Ayew and midfielder Ashley Westwood are back from suspensions.
Our midfielder Carlos Sanchez and defender Alan Hutton (both hamstring) are out, as well as Gabby Agbonlahor (back).
Wycombe midfielder Marcus Bean and striker Paul Hayes are available after recovering from ankle problems.
Goalkeeper Matt Ingram is suspended after being sent off against Morecambe so coach Barry Richardson, 46, is on the bench.
We need to win because it's a feeling that the team has been missing for too long now. It could be a boost for us.
I know the players will be waiting for that, of course.
But in every domestic cup competition it's the same problem for the big teams.
I know a lot about this kind of game.
In every country, it's the same when you play against lower league teams.
They are extremely motivated - and I am not expecting an easy game.
But I expect my team to keep the tempo that we can have in the Premier League, which is the best way to win this match.
However, I am not expecting any gifts from our opponents.
The culture is right here - and it feeds itself now.
The effort, enthusiasm and togetherness of the players has never been in question.
We're hoping it will be a great occasion on Saturday - win, lose or draw.
And then we hope to retain some of those fans who come down because to have a full house is absolutely brilliant.
The game against Wycombe is a good opportunity for us to play well and show what we can do.
Even though they're from a lower league, Wycombe are a good team and we can't underestimate them. We have to be professional.
We want to go far in this competition and we will give everything on Saturday.
Any win is good at this stage for the spirit of the team.
Starting with a victory against Wycombe would be good for the confidence of the team.
It's a big opportunity for us.
It will be packed to the rafters and the atmosphere will be amazing and the place will be bouncing.
We are really looking forward to getting out there and giving it a go.
We are full of respect and admiration for Aston Villa.
They are a Premier League team but we are looking forward to enjoying the day and giving it the best shot we can.
