James Collins was thrilled to score the goal that toppled Chelsea - and end his own personal drought.
The defender joked that he wasn't too sure how to celebrate his maiden Villa strike, because it's been nearly three years since he last found the net.
But the Welshman's first goal in claret and blue is one he'll cherish for a long time.
Collins told AVTV: "It is great because I haven't scored for around three years now so I didn't really know how to celebrate!
"But I was delighted - to get the winner in a game of this size is always nice.
"It is great scoring a goal for a new club early on. Dunny has already got two so I had to catch him up! I've got one now and I'm over the moon.
"The delivery of the balls in from Ashley Young and James Milner is fantastic and I'm sure we'll get a couple more this season.
"It was a big goal. Obviously we were disappointed to go a goal down when had control of the game, but the lads showed great spirit in coming back to win 2-1."
