Villa have drawn Blackburn Rovers in the third round of the FA Cup.

Martin O'Neill's men face a home tie against the fellow Premier League opposition.

The tie will be played on the weekend of January 2/3, 2010.

The claret and blue troops will look to avenge the last FA Cup meeting between the sides in January 2003 when Rovers ran out 4-1 winners at Villa Park. Matt Jansen (2) and Dwight Yorke (2) scored the goals for the visitors with Juan Pablo Angel netting the Villa consolation.
