Name: Colin Abbott
Age: 45-years-old
First Game: League Cup, Nottingham Forest v Villa, September 1972, Martin O'Neill played.
Current Favourite
I admire both Stiliyan Petrov and Nigel Reo-Coker for their never-say-die attitude and ability in the midfield 'engine room'. This is an area which is normally overshadowed by what the strikers do.

First Hero
It had to be Ray Graydon, after he scored the winner at Wembley in the 1975 League Cup final.
All-Time Favourite
I've got to go with Paul McGrath. He was a truly world-class defender, so composed it was unreal.
Favourite Goal
I'm going to pick Brian Little's overhead kick against Manchester City in the League Cup of 1976. We won 3-0. Man City were the current holders.

Off-Field Achievement
Mr Lerner buying the club and all he has done. Our support of Acorns has to be the biggest achievement - what a great gesture. Keeping the tradition of Villa Park alive and kicking - the Holte Pub and the mosaic on the Holte End. They are both little things when you look at Mr Lerner's fortune but in real terms they are monumental statements. Then we have the giant flag for matchdays and much, much more. Our owner is so tuned in to what the genuine supporters feel. He has only been here for a short period in Villa's history but he is one of us.
Favourite Match
That can only be the European Cup final. I was fortunate to be there to witness the greatest ever night in Villa's illustrious history.
Favourite Kit
I think the 1974-81 kit was special. We won promotion, two League Cups as well as the League Championship in that kit.
Favourite Season
There's so many to choose from. The 1974-75 term was special - promotion and the League Cup. Then there's 1980-81 for obvious reasons but I also enjoyed the football we played under Brian Little in 1995-96. We finished fourth in the league, we won the League Cup and we reached the FA Cup semi-final. We went to the games expecting to win and we did pretty much win most of them.
Three Dinner Guests
Randy Lerner, Paul Faulkner and Martin O'Neill. I would love to hear what plans the three of them have for our great club.
Dream Team
Rimmer, Gidman, Aitken, McGrath, Laursen, Graydon, Cowans, Little, Houghton, Waring, Hampton. Subs: Spink, Nicholl, Cropley, Walker

Favourite Manager
Ron Saunders. What a manager. He led us from the Second Division to being crowned Kings of Europe. Enough said. It would be nice to think MON could emulate his achievements.
