First Hero
David Platt - Before putting himself in the shop window with 'that' goal against Belgium in Italia '90, he single-handedly kept us up during the Dr Jo era. A classy midfielder.

Current Favourite
Ashley Young - No-one since Tony Daley has twisted the blood of opposition defenders and thrilled the Villa Park faithful. Young has skill, pace and guile in spades.
All-Time Star
Paul McGrath - A boring and obvious choice but he must have been good if the Holte still sing about him years after his departure. A flawed genius with effortless skill and ability despite those knees.
Favourite Goal
I'd choose the Dean Saunders goal against Ipswich Town at Villa Park from the 1992-93 season. A great volley from a superb striker. The other goal in that game was pretty good as well.

Favourite Match
Our 2-0 win over Chelsea in September 2007 at Villa Park stands out for me. Remembered as Jose Mourinho's last league game in charge for the Blues but Villa were immense from start to finish and dominated every blade of grass. A proud day to be a Villa fan.
Favourite Kit
No it's not one with Muller on but last season's electric blue away kit. Very stylish and bright and to have Acorns on the front was not only a touching gesture by our chairman but another reason to be proud to be a Villan.
Favourite Season
I would choose 1998-99. We were put on the map by a dominant first-half of the season and topped the table for so long it felt weird. Dion Dublin, Paul Merson and team-mates were superb.
Favourite Three Villa Dinner Guests
Randy Lerner, Paul McGrath and Paul Merson - two great players who helped shape my Villa upbringing and Mr Lerner, just to thank him for changing the club I love for the better.
Dream Team
Bosnich, Barrett, Staunton, Laursen, McGrath, Barry, Young, Merson, Yorke, McInally, Daley.

Favourite Manager
Martin O'Neill - The man has revolutionised the club since he has been in charge and will steer us to some long overdue silverware very soon.
Favourite Off-Field Achievement
I would pick travelling to all 92 league grounds during 12 days in April 2007 to collect memorabilia that we auctioned off in memory of my football-crazy friend Stephen Hayden, who died from leukaemia in August 2006, on the 'Stadiums for Steve' tour.
It was a great achievement and a subsequent fundraising dinner helped raise thousands towards the Birmingham-based Cure Leukaemia charity.
