Your Club, Your Voice, The SCG
24th Sep 2010
Chairman Randy Lerner and his board are anxious that fans should have the opportunity to express their opinions and ask questions on various issues.
That's why we have the Supporter Consultation Group, which is designed to provide a link between Villa and the people for whom we exist.
"Fans are the lifeblood of the club," explained non-executive director General Charles Krulak, who has already displayed a willingness and enthusiasm to interact with the claret and blue faithful.
"It's important to us that people's voices can be heard, and that every Villa supporter should have the opportunity to raise issues which affect the club."
Logistically, of course, it is impossible to offer every single supporter the opportunity to pose questions directly to the club.
But the SCG will identify the most important issues, suggestions or questions that the club need to communicate to ALL supporters.
Each meeting will be attended by representatives of supporters' groups, message boards and fanzines, plus season ticket holders and individual supporters.
Club officials will meet with the SCG at least four times a year, but the communication of our answers will not be limited to those taking part.
