Bradley Watkins

Bradley Watkins enjoyed a good run of games for Villa's U18 team during the 2011-12 season.

Despite jostling with the more experienced Calum Barrett, as well as the likes of Matthew Coton and Craig Hill, he was often prefered as No.1 in the Barclays Premier Academy League.

With Benjamin Siegrist nursing a hand injury, Watkins also stepped up to the reserves squad during December, January and February to deputise for Barrett.

The Kent-born custodian was on the bench for Villa's NextGen Series games against Rosenborg in Trondheim and Marseille at Villa Park.  

Watkins has represented England at U16 and U17 level.

Former Villa and Manchester United goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel is his all-time favourite player.
