Oliver Stevenson

Oliver Stevenson is hoping for a regular starting role in Villa's U18 team during the second year of his academy scholarship.

Having spent several years with the club as a schoolboy, the versatile defender had to be patient during his first year although he did feature in the U18 team's 4-0 win over Portsmouth in April. 

The Banbury-born teenager can play both as a right-back and a central defender.

Stevenson boasts high fitness levels and strong leadership qualities.

His footballing idols are Manchester United full-back Rafael da Silva and Barcelona star Daniel Alves.
