Steve Burns

Steve Burns held several coaching roles at Villa since arriving at the club in 1988 and he is now Assistant Academy Director to Bryan Jones.

He joined the club as a part-time coach before he went full-time in 1997.

He played for Walsall at schoolboy and amateur level from 1967-71 and then became a teacher, working at schools in the Birmingham area.
